Howdy!

Needless to say I'm new around here, so don't be too harsh

I'm currently waiting on my JCW, should be here in November. In the mean time, any tips on proper care, or greetings are welcomed with open arms! And hopefully, in time, I can contribute something back besides forum filler

Newb!

I'm obviously new here. I've been lurking for a several months. I finally bought my MCS a little over a month ago and decided it was time to join up and be a fellow NAMmer... Here's a couple pics of "Monroe", 06 MCS, bought it with 35k miles on the odo. Bought it from Vista Mini in Florida, and had a GREAT road trip all the way home to KY to get to know her.

New JCW Clubman, one week old. Chili Red, black stripes. Love it. Mini #2, first a 1964 Cooper, right hand drive in Luton, England. Both great rides. Who says second childhoods are not fun?

Newbie

Hello,

My name is Curt and I live in the Cincinnati area. I'm probably going to order my 1st MINI next week. I really want the '09 MCS. I drove one on Monday, and I have been pretty much obsessed about getting one ever since!!! It was just a blast to drive!!

If any one has any tips on what to get/what not to get on it, let me know. I'm most likely ordering it on October 23.

Curt

Good morning everyone!

My name is Jim, and I live in Fairbanks, Alaska.

I recently bought a Mini S for my wife. We both really enjoy the car.

We will let you know how the Mini performs at 50F below zero this winter.

Hi there,
My name is Cheryl and I've been lurking on this board for a couple of months.

I bought my mini S in April from a dealership in LA, CA. I love the car when it works! I've had a bunch of problems, some really major and I am regretting purchasing the mini. The customer service has been horrible and I am in disbelief that this is what BMW has to offer.

Hopefully I am past most of the problems that have come up, but my mini is only about 6 months old! What's going to happen a year from now!!?? I am scared.

Anyway, a lot of my car headaches are CA related, so hopefully the other mini owners in the rest of country are having a better experience than I am.

Yes, many of us have nothing but driving pleasure from our MINIs, but it is still sad to hear of anybody experiencing otherwise.

Wow, I'm really sorry to hear that! If you haven't already done it, I'd suggest you join one of your local club associations - if they can't give you "free" mechanical advice, at least you'll have a support group!! Don't give up on MINIs, they REALLY ARE great cars...Good luck!
