Welcome to NAM
New Kid on the Block
Hi! I'm new on here...well, new to forums entirely actually. I guess I'm a little behind the times....
I don't have a Mini yet but I'm planning to buy one in the next six months or so. I'm looking for advice about buying one.
Thanks!!

I guess I should put the obligatory post in here too. I've had my MINI since Dec '06 and the 11.5k miles have all been great. I love the gas mileage and the ability to squeeze through the city traffic. The DIY stuff on this site is great. I'm glad to join up.
Howdy y'all from the Lone Star State.
Pulled the trigger and ordered our Dark Silver MCS with pretty much all options except Hyper Sport Suspension on Jun.11 and happy to report that "Dame Edna" left Southampton on the Frisia (guess there's no Gladdy available!!!) on Jun.22, and which is due into SC on July7.
Excitement building here in the Westoplex for her arrival.

New..sort of
I have read the forums from time to time since my husband and I got our new PW 2006 MINI cooper S convert. last August. I felt it was time to post, as we are "adopting" another MINI...His name is Pip and he is a 2006 BRG MCS. I am especially excited about this, as I will now get the convertible on a daily basis. YIPEE!
I am sure Pip's previous owner will miss him, but we will take good care of him and he will make lots of friends in PhillyMINI.org
There is something about MINIs (as I am sure you all know) it is hard to have just one

First hello
I am the proud owner of a 2007 red & white mini cooper. I have just discovered this site and so many of you have already helped so much by sharing information that has taught me about my car, so thank you. I had a 2003 grey mini cooper and find this one wonderfully different and happily much the same. My ex bought the 2003 for me when he was with his girlfriend, and when I found the pictures, I decided to buy my own. This one I bought off the lot and thankfully is loaded...has the convenience package, the premium package, lounge leather and I am still not sure what else. Forgive me in advance. I am going to be asking some really basic questions, given that I really don't even know all that my car has on it. With your help,I am looking forward to learning so much more about my great new mini. Thanks again.

Hello! I am Andy (AKA Juddy) I am brand spankin’ new to the Mini world (even though I don’t own one yet
) I am ordering mine sometime this week but I will not be taking delivery until January, when I am back in the states. I test drove the MC and MCS and I love them both! But, it is definitely going to be the MCS just because I can! I am thinking Electric Blue / white roof (with the sunroof) and mirror caps. Spoke rims, and packages 1, 2, and 3 with the addition to the back up sensors (wife) and stereo. I almost forgot the white bonnet stripes! I have been lurking the pages for about 3 weeks and just decided to sign up last week. I wasn’t sure if I was going to get a mini but the more and more I look at them the more and more that I want one.
I am active duty Air Force (this will be the only time I bring this up) and am stationed at Ramstein GE. I have been here since 2001 and I can’t wait to come back to the states January of ‘08, although I am going to miss the COLA. We are not sure as to where we are going yet but we are hoping it will be along the East coast or in the Midwest somewhere.
I am looking forward to the years to come with my mini and hopefully have the chance to meet a lot of you at a meet, rally, or gathering!

Hello, MINI lovers! First post. Just went on our 1st trip with MINI5280 to Bishop's Castle in Colorado. Great trip, great folks. Will be joining 5280 & signing up for MITM.
We have an '02 Cooper S, Liquid Yellow/Black, sunroof, cold weather pkg, rally lights. Just replaced run flats(thank goodness!) with BFG K's.What a great ride difference! Put them on stock 17" MINI rims that I had powder-coated gloss black. Changed the whole attitude of the car! Anyone know what spacesaver spares will fit a MINI? Want to have for long trips (just in case)

Hello!
I don't yet own a Mini, but this is a great site!
I expect to get one in the next 12 months, probably a BRG MCS, but I'm curious about the new Clubman...but I'll have to experience it in person before I'm convinced of anything.
Once again, awesome site -thanks for all the excellent info!!!

Greetings from Tallahassee, FL. I have been lurking NAM for a while. I think its a great community. I come from the MR2 and Subaru world and I auto-x regularly. Drove a friend's '06 Space Blue MCS and I was hooked!
I will soon order a new MCS as soon as I sell my other home in Orlando.

Hey everybody.
I work at a dealership here in Salem, Oregon (acura/benz/lincoln/mercury/ford), and we had an older (60+) couple trade in a 2003 Mini Cooper S with 7,243 miles... pristine condition, appears to have sat in their garage more than it was on the road.. so I jumped on it, and I'm sure glad I did! I love this car. I've had it almost 3 weeks now.
Already installed a Spectre steel-mesh cone air filter, shield/surrounding to follow soon.
-15% pulley from MiniMania
-20% short throw from MiniMadness (in my glove box, waiting to go in)
Autometer boost gauge
17" Raceline 126's
Looking at springs next, then exhaust....
British racing green with color-matched top:

Now almost 8,500 miles
Great forum! :D

Dun Lurkin'
Hi All,
At last, no longer a lurker, thought I'd say 'Hi'. On my second R56 'S', the first was rejected, so have had all the fun of speccing all over again
Reasons for joining? The forum seems full of (vast majority!) upbeat, helpful, enthusiastic people - what a refreshing change.........
I'm from England, and I promise to learn to spell properly

Greetings, all. Total newbie here to forums and Minis. Just ordered an '07 MC, PW/PW, sport pkg, nav system. Scheduled for week 36 production, and it's going to be the longest 2 months of my life. Can't stop thinking/dreaming about this car! Hope to see you on the road soon! Ed.
