hello from Dallas. I have had my mini since 12/31/2005. It's BRG with white Bonnet stripes and a Union Jack on the roof. I bought it preloved. I have gotten some great info off the forums so thanks to all those who unknowingly helped. I'm not in a local club yet but i'm looking for one, if anyone knows of a Mini club in DFW area let me know.

 

Hello all from (mostly) sunny Miami. My fiancee and I just dove into the Mini world with a Mellow Yellow 2007 MCa. After only two weeks I have gotten the customization bug and have put on some new black HP Racing rims, 20% tints and await my spaced pint bonnet stripes and custom center caps from aesthetic creations (pics to come).

Like yellowtruck I have sneakily taken a lot of helpful information of this site already so I look forward to contributing to the community with my stories and experiences.

Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. My wife and I have just put down a deposit on a 07 MCSa in Dark Silver that was already on order by the dealer. We sold my wife's 05 MC in Chili Red earlier this year and got the bug again. After test driving the MCSa last week we were sold on the new engine with turbo. I can't believe how much more power that thing had over our first MC. Our MCS will be arriving at the dealer on Monday and we can't wait.

This looks like a great forum to find answers.

 

I got my 2007 chili red MCSC (JCW Airbox/injectors) in July. After letting my daughter use it for a month I have been enjoying it more than any car I have ever had before. I'm really impressed how fast I can shift between gears up to 90 mph (auto paddles - 6000rpm). I'm deep into adding lots of new stuff .... chrome air intake, DVD Reciever/Nav/rear camera, new chrome bits inside, rubber mats, winter runflats/chrome wheels, rear white lights. Will add a sub and new speakers, sat radio, JCW brace, chrome my mini web wheels and ???? in 2008. Decided not to leave it in the garage this winter!

 

We are soon to be first time Mini owners. Ordered a Sparkling Silver Sidewalk on August 10 from NWMini in Fife, WA. It was built on Sept. 4 and is now sailing towards "home" on the Topeka. I think it is scheduled to arrive at Port Hueneme on the 24th. Does anyone know about how long it takes to get through the VDC process and then from there to Washington State?

Proud owner of a '04 Dark Silver MCS with Premium and Sport packages. Got it a month ago and still can't get rid of the smirk every time I drive it.

 

We have had the 05 mcs for a week. blue with white stripes and sun roof. I haven't had this much fun in a car since I started dating my wife 26 years ago.

Hey everyone. Took delivery of my MINI last August, been to this site a ton of times and got plenty of good advice, finally registered. Good to be here. Over and out Connecticut.

 

I went in saturday to order my car, and luckily they had one in stock in NJ, so i should be getting it this week. im extremely excited to be on the nsm forums, i come check out ideas from here all the time and finally joined..the week i take delivery of the car

Edit: Just got the car yesterday...i LOVE THE CAR! nothing drives like a mini does. coming from an 05 325xi, im much happier with this (especially since is a 6 speed). i love the way the car drives, the pickup it has, and everything about the car from the interior to the exterior and everything in between.

 

Hello from Colorado Springs! Got a 2006 Mini Cooper S Convertible, Hot Metallic Orange. Drove all the way to Omaha to get this sweet ride! LOVE IT!

By the way, the top is blue which means my car is the Denver Bronco's colors. Too bad they aren't having as good a time as me!!!!!

Hello All! This looks like a very resourceful and fun community! I recently parted with my 2006 Acura TL and 2005 Infiniti G35 to get some downpayment for a townhouse. I got an 02 anthracite cooper S. Loving it! Looking forward to modding.

 

just got my 2nd mini.(2007) my first was "moke" model that i bought in 1972 used from a funeral director who used it at a cemetary. The cemetary guy bought it from a golf course that used it as a maintaince vehicle. no doors...bimmini type top. i could pick up the rear end and move it if needed.i always wised i had a picture because nobody knows what it looked like...i googled it and there are tons of pic's.....can mini make a new moke style??

Got an 04 PS/MCS July 01-06, That I rescued from a Carmax lot. I have had a blast ever sense. Drive an 80 Mile round trip to work every weekday in it !!!
