Welcome to NAM
Hello all:
My name is Yarvis Torres. I just put a deposit on an 07 S that is slated for delivery to my dealer, Morristown Mini in a few weeks. My MA tells me this S was on order with them and was already built and just waiting to be shipped. In any event, this is my 4th BMW. My first was a 1997 318ti that I bought used and was stolen if you can believe it. The next was my beloved R1200c motorcycle from the James Bond flick, "Tomorrow Never Dies.", lastly is my wife's 2005 X3 and of course my 07 S. I'm looking forward to many informative sessions!
Thank you and be well.

Morristown MINI!
I just bought my mini from the same dealer as you, Morristown. Joe Scarpa helped us out tremendously. Enjoy your 07 S. Be sure to post some pictures!
Probably see you motoring around! Enjoy!

Hi all, I'm new to the site. At first glance, everyone here seems to be really great at giving (+) feedback, and I definitely appreciate it in my few posts already. Anyways, I'm currently looking to sell my 2005 Nissan 350Z for a new 2007 MCS and can't wait to make the switch!

Nice to "meet" you! I went to two other dealers (one on Long Island, the other in North Jersey) and Morristown treated me the best. The young lady there helping me has been nothing but a true lady and professional. I'm hoping the good treatment continues after the sale. (this is very important) I can't wait to get this car in my possesion already, not to worry, will be posting a pic or two.
Hey everyone, just posting to say hello -- I just took ownership last week of my first MINI which is also my first convertible. I fell in love with it after taking a test drive -- it gave me a visceral thrill the other cars I was trying out did not.
Like my handle says, driving has become way TOO MUCH FUN.

I see you are in Edison, I'm in Staten Island so we are kind of close and neighbor like. lol. Where did you buy your baby from?
Not exactly a newbee...
Wanted to re-introduce myself
I used to have an 03 MCBRG named "Bahn Scot" I now motor in an 06 MCSB named "Bleu beri" which I purchased new in July 2006. Mods: M7 tower brace, bleu wires, custom ebroidered leather door pull kit & a couple of silver metallic bonnet stripes.
Glad to be back on Nam for my MINI fix & advice.
Thanks, Tom

Hi Everybody,
I'm another newbie to this, but I'm on my second MINI. Best car ever! I have an 06 MCS with the works, factory done. I got it in April and already have 27K miles. I'm in a motoring frenzy. Its name is Popeye. I'm a member of the Mid South MINIacs out of Memphis and a founding member of AMOK (Arkansas MINI Owners Klub) a new klub based in Central Arkansas. I guess that's it for now, I live in Hot Springs, AR and we have some WONDERFUL MINI roads in this area. If anybody wants to do a road trip around here, I'm always available.
Sign me, Popeye

MINI of Morristown -- it was a pretty good experience! I just re-read your post, you got yours there too!
Hi, I am a newbie to NAM. Just got a new 06 MC a week ago. British Green. I am also in Atlanta GA. Love my cooper and we now have 3 in may family. Red, Silver, and now Green! We love them... and a blast to drive. So here I am!
Toomuch:
So far the expereince there has been nothing short of fantastic. Mags is my MA. She is real easy on the eyes and is very well informed about the product.
Hi to all. My name is Ron. Always been a car nut but never really look at a mini until lately. Really looks like a fun car to drive and custom. I'm going to the dealer soon to test drive one. Seems like I could be a future wanabe.
Thanks for such a great site.
Greeting from a potential MINI owner
Good day everyone. I'm a potential MINI owner who have always admired the MINI Coopers for their personalities and their reputation for being fun to drive.
Although I haven't taken a test drive yet, I think I'll be getting a MCS, probably 2008 model year.
So I'll be asking bunch of questions in my research into the car over the next few months--thanks in advance for your patience, and looking forward to learning more about the car!
A bit of background--I currently own a 1998 Saturn SC2, and it's pretty fun to drive, but it's getting a bit old (102K miles and counting). I've owned Saturns since 1994, because I thought they were pretty cool, even has "personality". I don't care much for the current generation of Saturns--they just look like any other cars on the roads, and I'm looking to upgrade my driving experience which the Saturns doesn't seem to be able to provide.
I'm considering other cars, but at this time MCS is at the top of my list.

102K? I got the hand-me-down Suburban that's up to 215K. (most of the time I'm on a bike though).
Main reason I'm here is I'm itching for a new car. I hadn't really been caring much about new cars-nothing really grabs me. My brother has an MC40 and loves it. Minis are one of the few "interesting" cars to me.
This site has a bunch of really useful info! Helps tremendously!
