Welcome to NAM
New Member...1st post
Hi all.
I found this site and joined a couple of days ago. My husband purchased the '05 MCS Cabrio (Metallic Cool Blue with Black Bonnet Stripes and Black Top, Navy Leather, Chrome Mirror Covers, Harmon Kardon stereo system, manual) as my Christmas present in December. Of course, I NEVER get to drive on the weekends especially since Spring is arriving and the temp is rising. This is going to become a problem eventually but I "allow" him to drive the "Inni Mini"......for now
.
This is my first post to NAM. I have really enjoyed reading the thread & hope to meet many of you at the Dragon. I can't wait to check out the mods. I have always been a Mustang girl but I have seen the light.... I am ready to make some modifications to the "Inni Mini" but I would like to check out other MCS and get advice from other owners. I am so glad I found this sight and I look forward to getting to know you all.

Hi everyone,
Just found this site not too long ago and loved it. I just recently bought an 02 MC IB/W and I love it so much. Just some stuff about me: I'm probably the youngest on the board- 16. I had to work hard for my Mini but I'm glad I did. I'm in high school, hate it (whats new). Can't wait until summer when I can really enjoy my car... more then I am now that is
. I can't wait to really start posting!

Welcome Leighrhea720 and minicoaster27!
This is a very addicting site, as you will soon find out. Although, it's nice to know that there is always someone to answer your questions =) =)
Minicoaster- you're the youngest that i've seen so far. I'm 23 and have only seen a few people that are younger than me -- then again, not everyone puts their age in their posts! =)

Congrats on getting a MINI. I am just imagine how fun it would have been to have a MINI in high school. I had a 57 Chevy.
WOW I wonder if we could get an oldest member posting going. I am almost 58 and I never feel younger than when I am whipping down the freeway in my MINI. I still love that other MINI owners wave. It is like a secret society.
I have had a lot of my questions answered since I bought my 03 pre-love.
There's a guy somewhere on NAM that's 82 years young! =) Avid mini driver and poster =)
Just Lovin my MINI
Only had "Winnie" for a month but I've had more people stop and ask me about her. Tag reads YIPPIE and believe me that's what I feel every time I drive her. I've used this site to research a lot of Items I've already done to her. I'm planning on doing lots more. She is an 05 with only 4k miles.

New member,
Been reading through the forums. Looking at possibly buying a mini cabrio when the new version comes out. I have a garage of toys (Jeep (X2), Avalanche, Spyder, Scion, BMW) but want something new with some zing, and fun to drive with my kids hollering in the back seat.

New Bumper Sticker for all of those cell phone slow pokes out there:
Shut Up
Hang Up
and Drive!
That's one of the great draws toward the mini. It seems to drive much crisper than for example the 3 series BMW which has gotten pretty big over the years. Nothing like the 80-90 series 3 series now a days. I like the short wheel base like my jeep, the open air feeling of the spyder, and the sinewy response of the BMW. I figure I'll read a lot and get to know how people perceive the car, maybe meet up and dig through the brain pan of a few mini drivers, and get an idea if I'm a fit for the motoring life style.
Miss my 04 BRGMCS I bought new at Roadshow BMW/MINI in Memphis,Tn.If I get another one it would be a toss up between the new yellow color or Pepper White.Either car would be ordered in solid body color and I would ditch the run flats and I would go for either charcoal gray or gloss black aftermarket wheels!!!!!!!!
Hello Everyone
I am new to NAM forum and I thought I would register so that I can keep in touch with my new friends which I met at AMVIV 5 last weekend. For those who were at AMVIV, I am one of the Canadians who came south for the big event and I drive the '07 Chili Red S with the checkerboard roof, white stripes and the number 25 on the door. Had a great time at AMVIV
and hope to be back in the future, as well as travelling to some of the other get togethers around the US, so keep your eyes open for me.

I was one of the Aussies that were there. Good to see you on NAM.
Cheers
Steve
Thanks, I saw on the attendee list that there was someone in attendance from Australia, it is nice to make your aquaintance, hopefully in the future we can meet face to face. My company was purchased last year by a large Australian firm, so we might see each other down under. Your Mini is looking pretty sharp, do you have further mods in the works?
Talk to you soon.
