I bought a one owner 1972 Leylans mini Clubman in November. It is Australian built with 1100cc engine/4 speed sychnro, and is in lovely condition. It had one lady owner prior to November and has a genuine 60k miles. It runs and drives like a dream. It is currently on eBay.com.au along with a number of photos.

Hi all,

I've owned a Mini now for a week and it's fun to drive again. I got it used from Jacobs and it's black with black interior. The automatic will make it easier for my kids to drive it (like I will ever let them).

I'm especially impressed with the handling in this snow, but I look forward to the spring and the ability to open the sunroof.

If you see me tooling around the NW suburbs, please wave.

Is there anything I need to know about owning a used Mini?

I just bought a '08 Dark Silver MCS. Thanks to your great insights, I'm tracking my order like crazy. It's on the OTELLO and should arrive in New York on the 7th. I don't really know what production week is that, but if there's anyone on the same boat, hi!!
I used to drive a Mini One D back in Europe and I can't wait to have this one. This is going to be a big change for me!! Just two questions I would like to ask:

Beside youtube do you guys know where I can find detailed road tests for this new generation??
I live in Boston, is there a MC driving club around?

Hello to all; this is my first post and I do not own a Mini -I just sold an '01 Acura NSX and am looking at cars to replace it. The Mini is a car I have long admired and once I found out they offered the "S" in an automatic (long commute in difficult traffic) I added the Mini to the list. Just bought a 2003 S manual Dark grey white top. It's actually my wifes car but I find myself asking her if she needs me to pick up the kids or groceries, fill it with gas, etc!
I don't think she has caught on to my alterior motives yet. I wonder how long I can keep her fooled.
What a great car to drive!!

I've got an '07 Lightning Blue girl with bonnet stripes and Union Jack mirror caps, and after meeting the crew this weekend, I have some more modding to do to catch up! Glad to be here

Hi Gang,I'm new to the forum and Mini ownership. I purchased a new 2007 MC in Oxygen Blue with a white top. MiniMi has the premium package, cold weather package, white side turn indicators, and some misc. small stuff. So far, I'm loving it but I only have 400 miles on it. it has snowed here for like 30 of the last 35 days! Has anyone else experienced a shift **** that comes off in your hand on a R56 Mini?Thanks,
