French R53 owner

Hi guys!! And happy new year from France !!

I bought my R53 last year, and now I am looking for uprading the comfort, and making some minor modification to the motor to make it more reliable.
I already replace the strut upper mount on both side and add a strut tower brace bar (mainly to reduce the mushrooming).
I belive my English is quite good, but far from being perfect. So please by advance for my future mistakes. And don't hesitate to correct my mistakes ^^

My first project is to replace the sat nav by a "homemade" head unit with apple carplay, but without any modification on the plastic interior.
Next I will probably try to add powerfold side mirror.

Welcome to the forum and the MINI experience. It is a different world where a MINI needs a powerfold side mirror. Here on the other side of the world, with everyone else driving huge SUVs, a folding mirror is not necessary. I would love to drive where it is necessary.

Do you have any pictures to share?

Sharp looking MINI. The blue and silver roof look great together.

Welcome to the Forum. When I visited Paris last year EVERY car I saw had fender damage. That's not surprising when you watch how people drive there -- lane markers seem to be just a suggestion and, at times, motorcyclists simply use the sidewalk!

Welcome to the site, and welcome to the Checkmate club. I have to say that the space blue and silver is the best color combo.
