New Countryman Owner! Bought a 2015 S All4

Hello all! I bought a 2015 Countryman S All4 with 51k miles on Thursday evening. It's definitely a change from my last vehicle, a modified 2010 Wrangler, but I was looking for someoneso with better had mileage and would fit a car seat better. I live in Farmville, NC with by wife and our daughters who are two years old and two months old. I wanted something that would be fun and unique. I believe I findf it! I'm digging the Mini so far.
I'm very experienced with wrenching and maintenance. I'm a mechanical engineer and I've always done all my own vehicle work.
I look forward to putting miles on the Countryman!

Welcome to the forum and the MINI experience. Do you have any pictures you would like to share? The MINI should be the perfect fun and unique replacement for the Wrangler.

Congratulations on your purchase.

Welcome to the forum and to owning a Countryman! Looks sharp! They are great for a family. I’m sure you have noticed that they are surprisingly roomy inside. My family is the reason I bought an R60 and not an R56. My teenage son is built like an offensive lineman, he’s HUGE, and he fits in the back seats with room to spare! Not many vehicles out there that can claim that. This site is a great place to learn all about your Mini, and all of the mechanical quirks and traps for wrenching on it. Now it’s time to personalize it to your taste! Make it your own. And when you decide it’s underpowered, get in touch with Mariokart to make it fast.
Welcome to the fun

I see that on here a lot. What all does that mean and how does one go about doing it?
