Hi from New Hampshire!
Hello! Just want to introduce myself to you all. I'm from New Hampshire and we just bought a 2015 Mini Cooper S hatch, 4/5-door, automatic, space grey, with about 8,000 miles on it. By the time I got around to writing this, my wife's already put 1,000 miles on it as it is her commuter car.
I'm a member of several other forums and I have found them each to be invaluable to being educated and at least a little self-reliant when it comes to owning just about any mechanical thing.
Our other vehicles are:
2003 BMW 325xi wagon, 5-speed manual
2012 Volvo XC70 wagon, 6-auto
1961 Ford F-100 4wd, 4-speed manual
and a boat: 2003 Super Air Nautique
My wife was driving a 2007 BMW X3, 6-speed manual, with 209,000 miles. She loved that car, but it was getting ~22-23 mpg and getting up there with its mileage and maintenance needs. So, we stumbled on this Mini and after driving it, we both immediately loved it. Here's to many fun years of ownership!
We do have an issue already, but I'll get into that in the appropriate section of the forum.
