Hello!

I just bought a 2015 MINI Cooper S Roadster. I bought it after test driving a couple of other convertibles. I knew I wanted a convertible. I didn't really think a MINI was going to be the one. I was getting pretty close to pulling the trigger on a BMW S Series with the smaller engine and all wheel drive. But I thought I should check out the various ragtops available, so I stopped by the MINI dealer in Bedford. After taking a couple of them out for a drive, that was it. Two days later, I own one. So, in a way, it was kind of an impulse purchase.

I don't really know much about the brand yet. I've got a lot to learn. But, I know it's huge fun, and that's what I was looking for.

Dave

Congratulations! Seeing as you are in NH you should take part in "MINIs On Top" at the end of June. A MINI gathering at Mount Washington area. http://www.minisontop.org

Welcome to the community and share a few pictures of your new travel companion!

Here are 4 photos. Also new BMW i3 with range extender in the background.

I'm going to have a lot of questions about the MINI. I'll do searches for the answers first, but you may need to bear with me.

I mentioned MOT to my wife. She said she wouldn't do that to a new car. I probably would, but I may (hopefully) be gone at the time. I plan an extended drive, er, motor excursion, through the US this Summer.

Welcome to NAM, NH Photo Guy and congrats on your new MINI Roadster. Thanks for the pics, it looks fantastic. My original Roadster order was for the Lightning Blue with Satellite Grey interior. Unfortunately, MINI discontinued the interior option just before I ordered and later replaced it with the Lounge MINI Yours Satellite Grey option you have. I still love this combination, good choice. Happy motoring and please don't forget to wave.

I wouldn't sweat doing MOT in a new car. These cars are for driving, and what better way to break it in than run it up a mountain!

Congrats!!
Mot in a new car..lol..no issues....its pretty slow...might HELP break it in...varrying the rpms. Higher loads...seat the rings nicely...better than highway cruising....
Those midnight runs on the Kankmangus highway....maybe not, depending on how crazy you run..lol.
Have fun...MOT is mostly a social event and family fun, so no worries! Enjoy!
Yeah...mot is NOT like a DRAGON event...sure, fun roads, but less "crazyness" IMO.
