Hey everyone, I just bought a 2012 Cooper Coupe S about a week ago. Looking forward to reading all the tips on upgrading this baby up to gokart status.

Thanks. I got the car for 8k at 76k miles so it wasn't too bad, but I can already see upgrade expenses going up.

When I first saw these, I thought I did not like them. It is a problem with change for me, but now they have been out for a while and I really like them now and wonder when I will add one to my collection!
I want a JCW model!

My cousin bought a hardtop mini...and after test driving this one I fell in love with the smallness. It's like an audi tt with much better styling and quirkiness (though I know a lot of people don't really much like the look)....I think if the roof was black, so it doesn't look so much like a baseball cap, and the previous owner didn't take off the stripes it would look better.

Also the automatic spoiler is gold.

----- My other car is a stage 2 e85 08 VW R32, and picking which one to drive in the morning is tough

Welcome to the forum and MINI ownership. I also was not a fan of the roofline when they first came out. Yours looks great with the silver top. Stripes can be easily added. Probably the easiest modification you can do.
