Greetings from Chucktown
Greetings to everyone on North American Motoring! I realized that when I signed up on NAM that I never introduced myself. My apologies for that. Anyway, I'm a happy owner of a 2013 Chili Red R56 JCW. Purchased it in October 2017. I have to thank my wife because she found it and bought it for me after she said, "No!" to a GP. (The JCW has four seats which was her requirement.) I've already motored my way to Helenblitz and the Dragon. Loved taking the MINI through all the twisties. I'll most likely be asking a lot of modding, detailing, and restoration questions. And I'm happy to answer some myself.
Here's some pics of the ride:

Thanks! I try my best with the JCW. It's taken a lot of work to get the five years of wear and tear off the vehicle. I know there's more to be done. But, yes! I took it up in the mountains and it was a blast! I met a lot of other great MINI owners, had a bunch of laughs, met some of the vendors I buy parts from, and just had a great time running the MINI in its element. I highly recommend any MINI owner to make the trip to North Carolina during MoTD.

Thanks miniCPA! The red stripe is something that I added on shortly after I purchased the car. It's a set of rim protectors from a company called Rimblades. They come in a variety of colors, aren't expensive, and are really simple to install. Be ware though, your local Pep Boys may carry a Rimblades product. Not to go into the long story of what I found out about the business partnership between Rimblades and Pep Boys, the products that are carried by Pep Boys are sub par in quality and not the actual Rimblades products that the company sells from their US distributor. Regardless, I do recommend anyone picking up a set if they want to dress their rims up a bit.
I kind of wish my wife was a bit more lenient when it comes to shopping, (I'd have way more stuff done to the car) but she's an accountant, so every dollar is scrutinized.

Thank you for taking the time to look ItsmeWayne. I really appreciate the welcome from everyone. The JCW has been one of the best cars that I've ever driven! I will try to wield it's power responsibly and wisely. As an announcer said at a recent car show I was in, "You Mopar and Ford folks laugh now, but that is bad, bad, fast little car."
