New Mini to our family

New member here since I just bought myself a 2014 Mini cooper S hatchback.
And I'm loving every bit of this car.
I've been looking at stuff to customize this little go kart with, what are some of your mods you've done.

Can't wait to put some flair on it.

Welcome!!

I added a Dinan Sport Module then upgraded to Dinan Elite for faster driving.

Added Bavsound speakers and a JL Audio 6 channel amp for loudness.

Those are the two main items, along with some vinyl roof wrap and phone holder. Also some Bridgestone Driveguard RF tires which are far superior to all the other RF tires I've ever used.

Thanks for the tips, I definitely will be adding some sound mods just cause I like some bass when I listen to some music. So what is this dinan module your talking about? What does it do?

The sport module boosts the power of the car by tricking the system into thinking it has less boost. The Elite does similar but monitors several data points in the car so it is more refined. It has a 4 year warranty but you might be near the end of that as I am.

Yeah I have a little bit of warranty left but I'm not really worked about that lol I'll be looking into some modules then. Thank you very much

Oh one more thing I'm thinking about is I haven't seen much about aftermarket blowoff valves, do you know any info on them.

AFAIK the F56 doesn't use a blow off valve. It has a waste gate and don't ask me to explain the difference because I have no clue.

Welcome

There are a lot of mods you can do to that MINI. The Dinan module isn't bad as we do them all the time and can be installed in minutes so you can remove it if you have to take it in for service. We keep them and other modules in stock.

Welcome to NAM.

You have joined an enlightened group that recognize the MINI as a great handling small car.
