So far I am absolutely enjoying myself, as it is the most fun car I've driven to date. The power just feels immense even though it's a little 1.6 turbo. Feel like I'm definitely gonna start getting some tickets soon haha. I'm glad I finally made to switch to Mini, and from the forum posts I've seen so far, you guys all seem very welcoming.
On another note, I'm quite curious as to how rare my Clubman is, because it doesn't seem like there are any stats about how many they shipped to America, but from what I've read, they only ever shipped like 37 to England. I'd love to find out if anybody knows
Not too many. I heard about ~500 JCWs a year come to the US(maybe less back in the day), in that breakdown how many that year were R55's, I dont know. That was the first year of the factory JCW so maybe more then it tapers off.
Clubman aren't really rare. But JCW Clubmans are not very common. I just replaced my 08 shop car Clubman with a 12 JCW Clubman like yours. I searched for 3 years to find a car with the right options to get.
