Hello fellow mini lovers or loathers depending on if your behind the wheel or behind the wrench. I'm a new member to NAM from Windsor Ontario Canada. I'm working on modding up and driving the wheels off my 2004 MCs. It's an everyday driver but I do enjoy some spirited Street driving. I'm looking to find some local Mini heads to swap parts and build information with as well as with the million other people on this fantastic site. And I'm just kidding about the loathing turning a wrench on my car is one of my favorite things to do. All the stuff you have to take off just to get to where you have to turn the wrench that's a different story.
Here's a pic of the fun times. Anyone who owns an R53 has to have been here at least once. I'll post more pics of it back together once it stops snowing and I can wash it. Not really much to see though pretty much stock on the outside.
Hi BigAl,
You are right. Those of us that enjoy both sides of our Mini, have seen your similar pic.
Here is mine.
Can't have real fun, without a face drop! LOL
I think it shows how committed we are to our Mini experience. We that wrench on these Minis, feel the joy that many never have the chance to.
Nothing feels better, than gettin it back on the road and better than before!
Remembering our struggles enhances our ride. I think those of us that do take these apart and put them back together, really feel what they are all about!
I have shamed many a muscle car, in the twisties. There are many here and tight and abundant. They are just waiting for a Mini to carve through them and show others why they are, what they are. These ain't no straight line racers, they are curve cutting monsters! And do they drive!
Let us know when you get her done and don't forget to take pics of your progress!

Here it is back together just another silver car buy BMW. Sitting on my crummy winter rims with sweet sweet blizzwhacks snow tires are a bit of a must up here in Ontario
Oh I've heard of the Dragon and it's most definitely on my bucket list. Retirement idea number 27 set up suspension shop at the beginning of the Dragon and a tire shop 11 miles down the road.
