Long time lurker, might as well introduce myself

Hello all,
I've been a continuous lurker on this forum for the past 4 years, and let me tell you it kept my 2002 bright yellow mini Cooper on the road a good number of times, the old girl. Well, old girl got traded in with 215k+ miles and I got myself a 2014 Cooper S. Figure it's a good time to jump into this show.
Much love from Ohio, you guys have seriously saved my butt more than once.

Welcome to NAM.

How about some differences in the two rides?

To be honest, the handling of the 02 was superb, I can count the number of times on both hands that I lost grip in a curve and I have a lead foot. The 14 is definitely way faster. I owned a 95 s10 before the 02 mini and the speed difference there is the same as the 02 mini to the 14 mini S, all three are manuals. Handling is still great, just not go-cart that is super glued to the road great, which I heard that the NM rear sway bar can help with. In all reality, they're two completely different animals, which is great because I got to fall in love with mini all over again. But seriously, turn on sport mode, turn off tcs, way too much fun

Welcome to NAM! Sorry to hear the R50 went, but I am sure you're enjoying the F56 a great deal. I am here if you ever need anything. Enjoy!

Thank you much, and I swear pelican parts your site helped me as much as NAM when it came to the R50, with everything from the wiper motor change to a clutch change.
