Good evening all,

I've already started two threads, so thought I should stop by and just introduce myself.

I am not the mini owner, that would be my wife. We recently purchased a BRG R56 MC, and I'm basically here to get advice on how to maintain it. There's a lot about this car that really confuses me, so I'm hoping to learn a lot by sticking around here.

I'm admittedly very jealous of this car- I drive a Honda CR-Z, which I love- but every now and then I get to drive the MC, and I do get a bit envious. The handling is spectacular and it has a lot of umph that the Z seriously lacks.

There is an immense amount of information here about your generation of car between the threads, the members and the vendors.

And where are you located as there could be a SATSM chapter in your area? SATSM is an organization where spouses addicted to their significant other's MINI can get support and good reasons (excuses) on why it is imperative that you are able to drive the MINI.

Yeah I've pretty much already decided that my next car is going to be a Mini. I love my Hondas, but could be a close contest once I've paid off the CR-Z.
