I got my first Mini on Tuesday (3 days of commuting). It's been a couple decades since I've driven something cool on a daily basis (family/kids). Now they're older and I've been looking at and researching for about a year and it's finally come true. I still have a hard time believing it's true. I just want to look at it.
The details. It's a 2002 Cooper S. Dark silver/charcoal with the 17" spokes. Pretty common combination but the big selling point was that it only has 21k miles on it. So it's not only new to me, but practically new. Still has a little bit of the new car smell. A big upgrade from my 97 Ford Escort with 265k miles.
I have ZERO regrets and am having a great time. Now to wash/detail it for the first time to really start getting to know it.
Here are a couple photos. Lighting isn't very good and the car is pretty dirty. I want to wash/detail it today as well as an oil change. I think it also needs stripes.
I got it from an auction and don't really have any history so I thought I'd do a little maintenance to start of right.
Welcome to NAM! Wow, some seriously low miles! Looks to be in good shape and love the matching roof. If you ever need anything please don't hesitate to let me know. Enjoy!
