I bought my '05 MCS in early December-133k, 17% super pulley, Konis, 2% crank pulley, and Boy does it GO ! I found all of the original owners receipts, second owner put 12k on it over 2 years. Beautiful condition inside and out. the hard part is keeping my foot out of it in traffic!!
My dad owns an '07 base and a '15 Countryman (at 92 he needs 4 doors for his friends), so I've driven one before, but this is just a FUN car.
I've also got a '58 Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite, which handles as well as the MINI, but doesn't have the HP. Getting used to having HP on tap is going to be interesting.

I just edited my info -I'm in Nederland, but work out in Lafayette, so when I can get a clear run up Boulder Canyon to home, its a blast. Caught myself doing 80 and accelerating through the steepest part of the canyon a couple of weeks ago- That was before putting the Hakkapellitta 8s on- the studs change the handling a whole lot, oversteer turning to understeer through the corners over the speed limit. The Contis that are on the summer wheels are just great tires. I'm looking forward to Autox this summer with BMWCCA.

Fabulous! I am all too familiar with Boulder Canyon. You should come on out to the CUSCC Auto Show happening in May. Haven't released an official date yet, but it's always a blast. Had 3,000+ people last year and was recognized as the largest free auto show in the state. It'll be closer to Denver this year though, but worth the trip if you have time. It's always on a Sunday as well.

Nice, Hakkapellitta w/ studs , you can drive on straight ice. Had them before. Drove like a tank.

What's CUSCC stand for (other than the ubiquitous CC for car club)?
