Testing TPMS

I am looking at a used after market set of winter wheels/tires and the seller has said that there the TPMS is installed. I have a 08 Clubman R55, which is when the system changed over, I am not sure if they will map correctly to my mini. Is there anyway, other than actually mounting them, that I can check to see if they will work. Thanks Chris

Need to now what year MINI he had them on by the month/ year. Also do you have the TMPS inboard in the wheels , some early 2008's still had the wheel speed for the TPMS.

If you do you need the -9/2009 TPMS sensors.

He is not sure as to the year of Mini they came off here is his reply.

"It's a 2013. I bought it used and it has 19" wheels. These 16" were extras and I'm assuming original. The 19" wheels are JCW and the car is not JCW"

I am not sure as to the type of sensor I have in my 2008 Clubman, but I do know that they are very sensitive to pressure, as I have to adjust with the weather. Thanks Chris

Sounds like the stock wheels from the 2013 , which mean the TPSM are for 9/2009+ MINI is my guess. Got the last 7 digits of the vin, I can see if it cam with 16" stock.

Thanks ECSTuning, that is the only number he gave me. Doesn't look like they will fit as mine is a 4 lug. Thanks for your help. Chris
