5 years ago I ordered a mini, that didn't work out and I had to cancel. I've wanted one ever since. I finally got the opportunity and picked up a 2005 Cooper S with 21,000 miles. It's not the exact spec I was looking for but couldn't pass it up with the low milage. I've added a madness intake and rear sway bar so far. The chrome removal is already underway also. Thanks to everyone on NAM for the wealth of info.

 

Wow, only 21k!? That is an Outstanding find. You can maintain it properly through its life rather than having to hope it was taken care of by the previous owner, like i have to...

Welcome, I like that red dash, also the chrome looks good as is, but I get the dechroming thing many do. Enjoy, maybe I'll pass you on the road, or more likely you will pass me!

Chrome removal is underway, got my new wheels today, I really like them.

 

Looks so much better with the black wheels.

 

Huge improvement with the wheels--it was the only complaint I had. Love the interior colors.

I'm driving through downtown the other day on a busy street, when I still had the chrome wheels, and a guy in a MINI is trying to get me to roll down my window. I do and he yells, where did you get those wheels I love them. I said watch Craigslist next week.

Thanks all, Installed my WMW 15% pulley today, smooth install for my first time. I love doing a power mod and feeling the results on the test drive.

 

I do like that black skull shift **** a lot

 

I painted my mirror caps and plasti-dipped the headlight trim rings. Chrome is slowly going away.

 

Coming along nicely. I would have black outed behind the upper and lower grille before the install, so you dont have the red poking through, but you can always do that later.

 

Putting in a lot of work! Already looks like a different car. Team Dynamics are good wheels. The MINI is looking great!
