Hello,
We just yesterday acquired a 2012 Mini Cooper Clubman John Cooper Works, and we're having a blast with it! I'm not sure yet exactly what packages it has, and so far as I know the original owner made no modifications.
Just a few opener questions:
Where's the hood latch?
That's a R55, right?
How do I find out about Bluetooth upgrade options? Just take it to a dealer?
(A pointer to appropriate FAQs would be welcome.)
For background, we have quite a bit of experience with BMWs. We were pretty active 10+ years ago with the Rocky Mountain Chapter BMW CCA, including instructing at their high performance driving schools. I was one of the chapter officers who advocated early on that those new little front-wheel-drive cars should be welcomed, since their owners seemed to be having just as much fun as we were!

Welcome to the site from a new guy. I really like the Clubman, that will probably be my next one if I ever sell my hatch. Reminds me of the Chevy Nomads or the Falcon two door wagons. Find out how to open the hood first thing.

Yes all Clubmans are considered an R55.
The hood release is on the drivers side, and when the hood pops the latch release is on the drivers side almost in line with the edge of the hood scoop.
