New owner... Finally!

Hey NAM,

I've been a long-time lurker here (several years) but I finally got my MINI and decided it was time to join the community and contribute. You guys sent me forth well educated about used MINIs and I found, what has been so far, a fantastic little car! I've been looking at MINIs for almost eight years and finally got mine about a month ago. It's been a blast and worth every second of the wait. I'm sure the dealership here is happy now that I don't have to keep coming in and test driving theirs! I traded a Jeep Wrangler, which was a great car although starting to kinda fall apart. I'm kind of sad to see it go but the MINI is so much more in almost every respect. I'm sure this community will be just as friendly and hopefully I will get some waves while out motoring! Well I just wanted to drop in here to introduce myself and my MINI.

White bonnet stripes and aero grill coming soon!

Welcome to the Mini family. Great looking ride. I'm real partial to that color.

Enjoy your new ride!

A car rental company once gave me a Jeep Wrangler to drive. You definitely traded up. And the color just proves my point. Welcome aboard & enjoy.

I'm also coming from a Wrangler... 2007 Sahara. Love the Wrangler, and yes its starting to lose its luster. Let's hope I love the Mini as much as the Jeep. Had a couple of fun sports cars in the past as well... RX7 GTU and a 280Z, hope the Mini can live up to the soul feeling of those cars!

Tarbot - I went from a Wrangler Sahara to an MCS when I bought my first MINI. Don't worry you won't be disappointed! While the Jeep was nice it really doesnt compare with the MINI and the fun factor!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! And I agree with Grey. Cruising around town in the Wrangler with the top down was great but the MINI is simply a blast to drive! I was afraid I might experience some buyer's remorse when I let the Jeep go and got the MINI but so far it's been one of the best decisions I've made with a car.
