Car enthusiast soon to be Mini lover from the Northeast
Just wanted to say hello.
I am 29yo and have been in cars for quite some time. My list with pictures.
2005 SRT4 Neon w/ 307whp 370wtq

2000 S10 mini trucking stage

2003 SRT4 stage3 kit boosting 27psi try to rekindle my SRT4 flame (didn't work)

2007 350Z Nismo wanted something fun to drive (worked!!) my current vehicle which I am keeping too.

Me and my GF recently decided to start our own mobile detailing business after working for someone else for almost 8 years. So I bought a 99 Outback Sport for winter and detailing (you don't want to see it
). I do most of my basic details with my Z but when a show car detail is needed the OBS has to be driven.
Everything has been going very well but I hate driving my Outback!!! I wanted something fun, sporty, spacious enough for my supplies and (most important of all) something with a great community behind it
.
VW Golf
Subaru WRX
Evo
Mini
So now my big problem has been JCW or MCS?
I test drove an 2010 JCW and loved it!!! So fun and sporty like everyone always says. A little pricey for a used $26k with 27k miles. Which the salesman said he could drop the mininext warranty and get the price down to $24kish. Needs tires maybe rotate.
Also drove a 2012 MCS with 20k miles for $23k which the power difference is apparent handling felt pretty much the same though. Doesn't have the sound system. But it is murdered out which I like.
Also there was (which I didn't have time to drive) was an 06 MCS 59k for $14k nothing special but is also $10k less.
This would also be my GF's daily driver she likes the look of the 2012 but likes all the options on the JCW.
Anyone have any recommendations based on the info above on what to. Obviously they are all awesome cars. Just don't know if the JCW is worth the extra dough.

O.K. if your GF is going to be the one doing all the driving, why isn't she doing the test drives? With your car savvy I can see why you want to be sure you get the most bang for the bucks but if she isn't happy with what you get, ya think you'll be happy? Hmmmm?????
Good luck with whatever you choose.
Oh, BTW, I worked in Brockton for a couple years back in the 70's. Pretty sure it's changed a bit since then.

@BayStateDetailing I'm selling my 2007 MCS for $12,900 in Upstate NY. Check out the photos and details on the link below. It's a neat car - looks, feels and drives like new + it's loaded with features like Premium Harmon Kardon sound system, cold weather package, etc. You might like it more than these other Minis you have been looking at.

Send me a private message if you are interested in the car and would like more details...

She has been test driving them as well but her test drives are uneventful. I fill my with boosting and burning tires jk.
Yes you are correct Brockton has changed quite a bit. I have lived on all sides of it in bad neighborhoods and good. I live in a very good part of the city now on the Holbrook line.
I think we are going to try for the Black one and get them to throw in some accessories (driving lights and armrest)
2012 so it can't have too many miles. Good luck and have fun!
And your GF looks very happy!

She is very excited, she keeps saying "I wanna drive my mini!!!!" like 10 times a day.
She hustled them into getting her the rally lights and arm rest free of charge by telling them she doesn't want it detailed and she doesn't want it without those parts
Huge star wars fan!! She puts most other fans to shame she knows years of different wars and battles.
