My 2011 MC I could close the convertible top with the key..I didn't have to get in the car to do it. This 2012 convertible has basically the same options except it's an S and I cannot use the key to close the top. What's up?

 

I have 2012 S and I can open and close the top with the key.

 

I can lower it with the key fob (not convenience key). My other car I could take the key out of the fob and use the door lock to raise the top and windows. This
is making me crazy!
