The Topeka is load'em up! Now my nerves become shot in anticipation! Southampton Ports Authory website says its suppose to depart at 2030 hours which would be about 4:30 eastern for the U.S.

 

Ordered the same but an AT&T version from the Apple website at 4am on the day it was available for pre-order and it only shipped from China yesterday. A friend was over at the house on Friday...she walked into an AT&T store that day and just picked one up (not a 64gb but still). Mine should be here by Friday...going on a road trip in about an hour so should be here when I get back...then the Mini the week after?

 

Did you try to track your car by VIN and did it show up?

 

OMG! The wait is SO worth it. Picked up my Green Park Clubman yesterday and motored and motored and motored.

Another day at the port. I think maybe they forgot where they put mine after it didn't make it on the ship. If it doesn't get on the Fidelio (ugh, now leaving the 29th) I'm going to go buy an FR-S. It should not take 3+ months to order a car, it's a MINI, not a Lambo.

The FR-S went quickly off my list 1.5 seconds after I realized nav wasn't an option. And the BRZ couldn't even make onto my list seeing as NOT ONE DEALER would let anyone testdrive it.

 

The up side on the FR-S is that I can buy one and drive it this year, with the MINI it appears I can only do the former

 

Well.....Finally arrived at the Dealership today. My ship (the Fedora) docked in Baltimore on the 19th and the car arrived in Columbus, OH today. So that's five days in my case.

Just waiting for the dealer installed options to go on and then the cage match with the Finance Guy !

 

I've never financed a car before. What happens in the finance office? I've already negotiated my price, what else are they going to hit me with?

 

I'm going to guess at extended warranties and Gap Insurance at least! I believe tire warranty for the Run Flats too.

 

You know I hope I didn't jump the gun because my VIN isn't showing up on the website. Did yours eventually? This is going to drive me nuts! Because if it didn't get loaded on this ship, they're just going to leave it in a parking lot for a week?

 

I call BS. My MA knows exactly which ship mine is on. Perhaps you could ask for the sales manager or GM to check for you?

Word. My MA sent me an email where he cut/paste the vessel info out of their order system.

 

I sure did count my chickens before they hatched! Car is still in Southampton "waiting to be assigned to a boat." This is depressing & frustrating! I can't imagine how those who miss a multiple ships feel. I hope I don't have to...

 

I know how you're feeling. I'm still sitting at the port waiting. Where will yours come in to? Mine will be Brunswick, GA. I've been at the port since the 18th.

Mine is suppose to be coming into Brunswick also. It was completed and sent to the port on the same day. I guess our hopes are on the Don Juan. Its awfully hard to understand the K-Line schedule and I believe the Juan arrives @ Southampton before any K-Line anyways. Wait I think according to the website the "California Highway" departs Southampton Friday & the Juan leaves Saturday. I wonder if the port is overwhelmed with MINIs b/c of the plant temp. shutdown in August and they're doing the best they can to catch up?

 

Thanks for posting this! I think mine will dock on the 28th, so maybe in Cleveland by the 3rd, dealer options and pick up by the 5th. Sweet!

 

If we didn't make the Topeka that left today then the Don Juan the 29th or the Athens Highway on the 26th and the Florida Highway on the 28th with K-Line. Who knows.

 

Well I made the Topeka, loaded at 10 AM this morning. Miniusa status is still waiting for a ship. Molly heard anything?
