Looks like we were born on the same day and both waiting to get to Georgia. This waiting is so frustrated. My MA tells me that patience is a virtue and a watched pot never boils. I know, I know but that's not what I want to hear.

Uh oh! Mine was born on the 21st and I was assuming she would make it on 1 of the 3 ships heading to the west coast at the end of the week. From hearing what you guys are going through that may not be the case. I guess it's okay, it gives me time to save more money for the down. Of course almost every waking thought is about my baby.

I almost felt as though Barbara Wolfe Clairain and I we're the only ones that missed the boat but apparently not. Now I'm hoping theres enough room on the next boat for ALL of us! Why don't we get with the times and technology and build a railway across the Atlantic?! I would say why doesn't MINI open up a production plant in the states?... but then again...it wouldn't be a MINI if that was the case would it?

Haw did you miss my rant about not being on the 5 ships that have left since Molly getting to the port on the 14th? At this point knowing that she is unsinkable and how stubborn she is Molly Brown may be swimming her all on her own

I like the way you're thinking.

My Clubman was "On Order" for 5 weeks. I became very impatient waiting. It would have been a lot better if my MA had bothered to tell me that the expected build week was 5 weeks from when I ordered. Ask your MA for the build week. If you have a production number, which you must if you are on the OL, the MA should be able to get this info from the MINI build system or his inventory manager.
I suspect your MINI should go into production soon. I had the unfortunate timing to order early-August during the factory month long shutdown.

Hi everybody. I also have a 2013 MCCS on order since 28 August and it, too, is still "on order". Maybe MINI collects enough orders and then does a batch of Clubmans at one time??
I just emailed my dealer this morning to see if they can give me some information.

Scooper--I ordered Aug 9 and it just got on a boat on September 19th. I think we're all chocking it up to the factory shutdown (2 weeks in August).

Habberstad. They are closest to me, and I was initially going to buy elsewhere since they wouldn't budge from $750 below MSRP, swearing they wouldn't ever go lower.

I shopped the whole east coast and got offers as low as $500 over invoice. I called back Habberstad to give them one last shot and they sold the car for $1800 below MSRP. I'm happy they matched the pricing but our salesperson hasn't been the most accomodating thus far. I just called yesterday to see where the car was since it's been at VDC for 6 days. I got an attitude and was told the business manager would call when the car is at the dealer, they couldn't give me any other detail or even schedule a delivery date.

Can't say I would reccomend them.

I do want them to do him right. It's just that I would have thought mine would be in Southampton by now, waiting for a ship. At least hurricane season may be over by the time he's at sea!

The Oxford plant was shutdown for 4 weeks in August. The Graz Austria plant for the Countryman was shutdown for 2 weeks.

I think I must be the one with the longest dock waiting time right now, though not by much. Hmm somehow that doesn't make me feel better.

The WW site still shows my car as booked on the ship that left the 17th, I was hoping it would have been updated to show it booked on the one leaving on Saturday. Makes me nervous that it will get left behind again.

This is my third MINI and by far the worst buying experience though to be fair most of that was due to the plant shutdown.

Why would you not think your car made the ship that left the 17th? Just so you know I have been at the port since the 14th it seems.

In the status updates on the page it says "Returned to shipper", timed about 40 minutes after Greg's was "Loaded on vessel". ASk-MINI and my MA both agree that my car is not on the ship.

I really hope this gets resolved soon. Too weird.

Long story. PM me for details. Basically a pinging and stall when I applied wide open throttle that they could not fix.

For those of you tired of picturing your colors in your head here's a useful site I just found: http://www.color-swatches.com/mini/brand.html

My MINI is Pepper White and I've been trying to describe the color to people. I've been calling it a creamy brownish white. On this web site that is exactly what I would call that color swatch.
I was also able to see the difference between BRG-II and the original BRG. Note: they are both British Racing Green on the web site, but you can look at the model years and find swatches. 2005 for BRG, and 2007 and newer for BRG-II. Interestingly they both have the same amount of green, just the newer version has a bit less red and blue. That also agrees with some side-by-side pictures I've seen of the two.

Hmmm. Is this nitpicking over 2 weeks truly necessary?
Also, I don't think you're correct. But I also don't think it's worth quibbling about.

Looks like the K-Line on 9/28 & 9/30 headed to MD (don't know if it continues to CA?), WW-Line leaving on 9/29 headed to CA.

Hopefully we make these.
