Well with Audrey arriving I think the whole gang from when I started my wait 11 weeks ago has got their bundles of joy. And what a great looking bunch too!! So I think I'm off to the other forums and the open road, hope to see you all out there some time and maybe we can have an "I made it through the shutdown of 2013" get together at AMVIV next year.

Put an order in on a 2013 today. 
Back in Dec. '11 I bought Desmond off the lot and fell in love with every aspect of the MINI and MINI community. Since then I discovered a bunch of features that would have made my Desmond even more awesome. I decided to bite the bullet and order a car made to my spec. Externally Desmond II will mirror Desmond I.

OMG . . . this is driving me INSANE! My Highgate hit the dock on Thursday and I hope to have it by the end of the week, maybe Thursday or Friday. I hope Hurricane Sandy doesn't delay things.

After a forest-worth of paperwork, I brought this one home. (Too rainy to get much in the way of photos.) It's fun but takes a little getting used to driving. A big (little) change from my pickup - the clutch is definitely different. :-/

According to the robot voice, Dover (my 2013 MCS) is now being transported to the port. Hopefully he'll be able to catch the Oct 31'st sailing for Baltimore while the OL website still tells me Dover is "On order". What a useless website that is.

Previously owned a 2005 MC, but sadly had to give him up as some serious mechanical issues were coming up, and I am moving across the country from GA to AZ in a month. After having completed the cross-country drive already, dear hubby was not too keen on doing it again. So we bid farewell to Chili, and ordered a 2013 MC R60 in late September when I was out in AZ.
MA contacted me with production number earlier this month with a week 45 production. And my new baby finally went into production last week on 10/23. Targeting a delivery date of early to mid-December.
Owner's Lounge for some reason is still not recognizing production number, so I cannot see anything that is going on. Is that strange? I called the 1-886-ASK-MINI number and the auto update said it was scheduled to be completed on 11/2!!
Hoping the Owner's Lounge lets me in soon, patience is definitely not my strongest suit when it comes to my MINI.

I just ordered my first MINI on 10/26! It's a 2013, white silver and black, Coupe S with JCW package (couldn't resist the wheels and aero kit) and Xenons.
Now I just have to survive the wait!

That number just said Gollum II is at the port looking for a ship (no shipping info). The Owners Lounge says that I'm scheduled for production.
