Well, the title hasn't arrive so I'm in limbo, still.

 

Waiting is the worst.

 

Well it's now three years since I got the Mini. I bought it with my son who has been driving it and inflicting wear on it. At any rate he's headed permanently for the west coast so the payments and the car are all mine. Wednesday it gets stripes (white) and a hard installed GPS. Here are a few recent photos of it (taken today). I'll try to post a bit more frequently. I'll also post some post stripe photos.

I love the viper stripes! Looks fantastic. Your son looks to have done a great job taking good care of the MINI!

 

His care ebbed and flowed; I was riding herd somewhat. At any rate it looks pretty good now but could definitely use some paint touch-ups here and there. I'm still replacing minor things like missing mats, damaged visors, missing Ipod connector, and will need to do some paint repairs here and there. So just don't look too close.

I'm outside of Bangor over in Hampden. Are you familiar with Maine?

 

Spent a fair amount of time on Sebago as a youth. Live pretty much on the coast on the border of NH now.

 

Other than the three years my son drove it (now wasted time). Funny around here I haven't had one Mini driver wave. Hardly get waves on the MC either. Here's one more photo.

 

Sebago area is really nice. Nice driving loops around down that way. The roads up in Hampden are a bit on the wild side at times.

 

I remember them from my teen years. Darn that was fun before the consciousness about drinking and driving. Somehow we survived in one piece.

 

One more minor addition for comfort. Now we're living... an armrest!!!
