new mini owner from charleston sc

got a 2011 MCS love it , actually found that the sport seats hugged me a little too much i drive 130 miles a day. so i bought new non sport seats that the dealer took out of a car they were converting to a race car. anyone have any ideas of the best way to sell the 2011 sport seats and how much? also interested in mods for more horsepower most bang for the buck thanks

Put the seats on the Market place site for Second gen Minis. You see them for sale occasionally. As far as price I have seen them from $500 for the entire set to up to $1,000. The biggest problem is that if you cannot get a local buyer the shipping cost is appox 150 to 300.

Be sure and take pictures of the seat when you post. I would loved to have traded you my standard seats for yours but again, I am out here in the St Louis area and shipping is a killer.

Also you can post on Craigs list. I sold a set of VW seats that way.

Good luck

Welcome from Greenville, SC. I often think the sport seats are too snug as well. Im not a big guy, 160 lbs tops, so I wonder how bigger built folks handle them.
