Just got my (new to me) R56 S. Lazer Blue. Named it Bloo. Doing a custom intake tomorrow. Ecu flash new hoses and exhaust coming shortly thereafter. Got tired of playing with Saturn Redlines. Only problem I have with it is keeping the wife from stealing it from me.

I also chose a Mini over my Redline. looks good! What did you get for your IRL, if you don't mind me asking? Did you sell it private or trade it in?

 

The Mini is an '07. The wife and I drove 2 hours away andprobably looked at 20 used ones that day. We had just decided to give up. I was just paying the Mini dealership for the 5th time when I spotted Bloo hanging out by itself next door at the Porsche lot. Well, the dealer and General Mgr stayed an hour and a half late to sell it to me. On the night of the LSU/BA a game in Bham, Al.
The redlines aren't technically mine, I just work on them alot. We take them Autocross racing and spend countless hours in the garage. The 04 has over 60k invested beyond the price of the car. We change motors regularly. It has a daily driver, Autocross and Monster version. The monster just blew up. 800hp up in smoke because a titanium spring failed.
