Greetings!

I just purchased a 2009 Mini Cooper Clubman. Pure silver. I have to say it is one of the most nimble cars I've ever driven! bit of a change from VW's but still fun to drive.

Im in the Colorado springs area and have taken it on the few mild roads we have here and so far I love it.

Hope to read some interesting technical articles and stories from the community.

Nice! I'm a former VW guy too-had two Passats ('97 TDI and '02 GLS 1.8T) consecutively before i bought my Clubman in June. Haven't looked back once. What VW did you come from?

 

I came originally from a 2004 VW R32. loved that damned thing. But too pricey. Then i was in a 2009 GLI but the dealer screwed up the finances and thats how i ended up in the mini. so far im loving the little guy :D cheaper on all sides. Nimble to say the least.

The one thing that still bugs me... This car i assume would be a hell of alot more fun with a turbo.... but i havent driven a turboed mini yet.
