My Mini R53 (Hyper Blue) at Mexico, city!!

Well I am more or less new in this awesome forum, I am Mario from Mexico city.

My Mini is a R53 (MCS 06) Hyper Blue with 24,000 milles (38,000 kms), I bought it since 3 months ago and I love it.

The only changes/mods that I did in it, are the Spyder headlights and tail lights, I installed the covers for the headlights (weathertech), also I installed the DICE Duo for the iPod and finally the Breyton´s Wheels 18" with Goodyear Asymetric tires.

Here are the pics:

Y aqui el ya famoso DICE Duo.

I am thinking in paint the headlights rings in black, what do u think ?

Enjoy it like me!!!

Hi BT, I like it a looooot really, the Spyder is the best brand for this.

I bought mine here:

http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/sk...02-DRL-BK.html

Only I am thinking as you know to paint the rings, I am checking your post with all the information of your awesome Mini and I see that you only took off the complete headlights of the car and you painted like that ?? I thought that you took off the rings of the headlights.

Also I want to buy this cup holder:

Do u recommend it ??

And finally what about the K&N filter ? my car is all stock in mechanic, so do u recommend it to me or only if I modify something else in the car ? and the cost please!!, I see that is easy to install right ?? the bennefits in a stock Mini ?, thanx again!

I did remove the rings for painting, as well as the washer covers. It's easier to pull the headlights off to work on them. I have that cup holder, it works great, buy it. As far as engine mods go, do a 15% pulley first, then the air intake, best bang for the buck

Great MINI
I agree 15% pulley and One Ball Modification and that drop in K&N filter is all you need.
How are the 18s with the pot holes on streets?

15% reduction supercharger pulley is best bang for the buck. K&N drop in filter you can do yourself. One-Ball mod any exhaust shop can do it for like $30-$60 usd. You can also remove the resonator.
