Anyone else on the Bosporus Highway docking in Brunswick tonight?

I also have a 2012 JCW Hardtop on order... White Silver, black top and mirrors, black headlamp housings (so Xenons and white turn signals, too), Championship Red Lounge Leather Seats, Rooster Red Color Line, Technology Pack with Mini Connected with Navigation, heated seats, rear fog lamp (to fill the empty toggle), auto-dimming rearview mirror, auto A/C, and the panoramic sunroof.

Ordered october 6, Got my production number, and I'm currently eagerly tracking the order every day in the Owner's Lounge... No visible progress as of yet, still waiting on my production slot!

 

Love the White Silver.

Just ordered my 2012 JCW! Delivery is mid January! ugh

Any info appreciated...I have been speaking to the person at ask mini and for the last three days they have said my car has been in Q&A. From the forums it usually is 24 hours. Does this signal a potential problem or has the info just not been updated. Thanks for the help..

 

I'm on that boat. I pinged my MA to see if he had some sort of eta, but havent heard back. I'm not THAT far(MA), so I'm hoping that its something like the end of next week.

 

Keep in mind the holiday. Truckers don't like to have full trucks when they go home over the holidays, so chances are high that if it wasn't released and on a truck immediately, it's going to sit until Friday. And that has nothing to do with QA itself and everything to do with no carrier to release it to.

My car hit the VDC on Saturday and (to my MA's knowledge) hasn't been picked up so I'm not expecting to see it until the middle of next week at the earliest. Unfortunately.

Unless, of course, we end up like other folks on this board who were told their vehicles were at the VDC for over a week until suddenly they rolled up on the dealer's doorsteps. That's just how sketchy the tracking process is once you hit this point.

 

1-3 days is not unusual. If it's been a week, something might need to be fixed or a part is waiting, etc.

 

Mine is still at VDC since 11/15. My MA said it has not been released from VDC yet and they have no idea why. I thought I would see it before Thanksgiving but it won't happen now. I still have a few dealer options that I want done too. I'll be into the end of next week for a hopeful delivery.

I've been wondering if that has been my holdup. Something is broken, damaged or fubar. Time will tell.

 

Looks to be a nice JCW you have coming...Congrats...and Welcome to the club. fyi your wait is a lot less than most 2012 JCW owners (don't know if that helps much )

Is it all Black or w/ colored roof?

 

I'm on the Toronto. MA said I should take delivery before the end of the month.

 

Congrats, not much longer now then.

I just pinged my MA again to see if he had any thoughts.

 

Does anyone know if the Torrens made it through the Panama Canal yet?

I like the Side mirrors, but just in case the dealer is going to give me the original black ones to keep.

Also the builder on the mini website is wrong! I was assured that the chrome lip on the front grill would come black.

I know that I am on the Torrens?

Do any of you have any idea how much longer I have to wait.

 

The Torrens has know made it through the panama canal =) we are shipmates xD

No, I missed it! But it's about to exit the Canal and be in "our" ocean (Pacific for West Coast owners)! Won't be much longer now!

Anyone else out there on the California Highway? Just learned before Thanksgiving that my Countryman was loaded Nov. 20th. Scheduled to hit the states Dec. 2nd.

 

Anyone else out there with a Countryman in Production Week 46? I am patiently waiting to hear about it's arrival at the port for transport across the pond to NYC. Seems to take so long!
