My JCW Coupe is also on that ship. It was originally supposed to arrive on 11/2. So it was 2-3 days late.

Im hoping, praying, chanting, and burning sage over the idea that my car gets on the Elektra tomorrow. When I put his VIN number in on the cargo search at WW, I get nothing yet. Should I expect to see anything before he is actually aboard a ship?

It's been a blast to drive just doing errands today.

Haven't had enough time to drive it around this weekend. I did take it out last night for a bit; the xenons are amazing. Looking forward to running unnecessary errands all week and just drive it aimlessly after school. My daughters absolutely love the car.
Must give a shout out to MINI of Pittsburgh, who made it a really enjoyable experience, from start to finish. Cheers to them! Buying a MINI is unlike anything else. Also, I can't wait for next year's Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix and a chance to join the other MINIs at the park.
My convertible arrived in Port Hueneme on the 1st, but no word yet on its release to the dealer. I have to depend on him now for any info. If I call MINI it says it is waiting to board a ship. Everything on that site falls apart after the car is on the ship.
I ordered a Countryman ALL 4 a couple of weeks ago and it still just says on order without a VIN. The convertible had a VIN within a few days. A bit frustrating as we have already had snow here in Prescott, which is very unusual. I sold the Subaru yesterday so now I have no snow vehicle until the Countryman arrives--probably in January. I better stock up on food.
I'm completely running out of patience. It's a very long story, but the last of three cars I've ordered since 9/19 and the one that I am actually going to buy has been listed as "scheduled for production with no confirmed production date" for well over a week now. I was hoping to get on the 11/10 ship to the West Coast, but that's gone and not I'm starting to worry about the 11/22 ship. The other two cars went into production immediately when it said "scheduled for production". (short version of the story - 1st car - bad deal, bad service, not taking delivery. That one is probably at the dealer now. 2nd car - ordered incorrectly by the dealer, all SO instead of black over SO. That one is done and at the dock waiting for the 11/10 ship. Third car - stuck in limbo. As I said, I am out of patience!)

Good deal man. Mine will arrive at MINI NS right before thanksgiving it appears. I plan to take it on a little road trip the long way up to Jerome and then up through Sedona sometime in December. Let me know if you are interested in coming along.
Mine made it on the Elektra, loaded at what would have been 5:20am Central time. Keep watching though -- here's hoping you make it!
Mine made it on board the Elektra today and should arrive in Baltimore on the 18th.
Today was the first day I looked, actually -- come to find out that apparently it had been listed for the 11/3 boat but released back to the carrier, probably ran out of room.
There was a K-Line ship that came through yesterday, it's entirely possible you ended up on that one. If I wasn't on the Elektra I would have been calling my MA today to see if he could find out if I was on any boat at all or what the present situation was.
You're entering your VIN under Cargo ID, correct?

Your mini is prob on the k-line.
I sure hope! Did your MA know you were on K-Line? I'm like a kid at Christmas over this car...Ive always just bought what was on the lot or could be dealer traded within a few days. Five weeks and counting...and to make it worse, I sold my Honda the day I ordered the MINI and have been driving the family work truck, complete with body damage on every panel from a tree falling on it last winter.

Ive been crazy about this car since the day i ordered it on Oct. 1st and not being able to track the MINI the whole journey drove me crazy, but im almost at the end of my journey when my MINI arrives this week.
Hope all goes well for you with your MINI Tracking!
