MINI of Mt. Laurel

Yes I'm on the east coast and we actually ordered or cars on the same day. I hope the cars keep moving fast and get into a ship soon!

 

Ordered in May, delivery date listed as Oct.4, MA e-mailed yesterday and said "it should be in any day now".......

 

Well, so far so good. They're ahead of schedule right now. Let's keep our fingers crossed. Depending on whether either of us has to wait for a ship, you'll probably get yours about a week sooner than me. Mine is going on a tour of the Panama Canal before it gets here. What did you order? Mine is a Spice Orange MCS, black top, mirrors and stripes, black wheels, premium package, automatic, black lounge leather with piano black trim, polar beige color line and door panels, USB/iPod and armrest.

 

Wow, that's a long time. Was it because you missed the cutoff for a 2011 and had to wait for the 12's to go into production?

 

Got a call from my MA today - said its on a truck expected any day now at the dealership - said I could potentially pick it up this Friday/Saturday. If not then early next week. The wait is nearly at an end.

 

I just picked mine up last week. Shawn was my salesman, he's really good.

 

I have heard good things about shawn but I was so turned off by MT Laurel that I went to Princeton and had an equally good MA in Alex

 

I order a MCS as well, eclipse grey, MT, black roof and mirrors, black interior with satellite withe line, sport pkg, dual sunroof, mini connected with nav, HK sound..I think thats it. I am to exited!!

 

Anyone else waiting for word about the California Highway ... scheduled to arrive in Brunswick, GA at 11 AM EDT today? Seems she's fallen off the radar and K Line's schedule (http://www.kline.com/KAMCarCarrier/S...g_Schedule.pdf) is still 9/30. However yesterday it left Baltimore and http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/ noted it was due to arrive today into GA.

Any thoughts? I'm anxious for my Mini!!

 

@chaswyck, y ordered a MCS hardtop, MT, eclipse grey, black roof and mirrors, sport pkg, black 17 inch wheels, adaptive headlights, black interior with satellite white line, HK sound, mini connected with sat nav, dual sunroof and i think that about it. Im also thinking about adding the sport black stripes but Im not sure. What do you think? I called ASK MINI today and the machine said the car is in the body shop. I am guessing after that it needs to go trough paint shop and the assembly before its done. Im hoping the car gets done by tomorrow!!

 

Yes, I was told yesterday that mine was in the body shop also. I think the black stripe would look good. I've seen pics of the eclipse grey with black stripes and it looks very sharp!

Just called ASK MINI and my MC hardtop is also in the body shop. Scheduled completion date is tomorrow. Then, apparently, the real waiting begins...

 

@slifkinj, you are probably right. however, we might hopefully be able to get more info on the whereabouts of our minis if we manage to find out in which ship they are in. Are you in the east or west coast?

 

That was part of it, the Japanese tsunami, slow boat, etc.... The delivery date was changed to a day earlier today, Oct.3. Called my MA, she still couldn't give me an exact delivery date, but she though that it was on the last truck.

Aaaaagggghhhh!!! Mine is now off the ship, should be in the VDC. They said it would be "about a week" from when it was unloaded. Am I going to burst with impatience before then, or not?? That is the question...

 

I'm in Pittsburgh, PA, so east coast. Yeah, I'll definitely be tracking the ship... Knowing me, I'll just keep the feed on the SmartBoard on my classroom. Haha.

my first post! I ordered my 2012 MC on 9/17/2011, and the ASK MINI line tells me that it will be finished with production 10/5/11 - today! not quite sure what happens next

 

I have no clue, actually. I'm thinking maybe Baltimore? I haven't talked to my MA in a bit. Hopefully, I'll figure out all of this tracking business over the next week (when it gets on a ship).

 

It should be in you buyers order. Mine is going to baltimore, so if yours is going to we are most likely in the same boat.
