Ordered mine on the same day! But I was given a production number...and found out today that production started on 3 April. So excited. Keeping my fingers crossed that you get some clarity - and a production number!

 

Less than 24 hours until pickup!

Awesome to hear back from ya'! I called my MA yesterday about the car as she told me my completion date is Thursday! Car still wasn't into production though... Figured today it probably went into production. Unfortunately, I was busy all day and never got the chance to give her a ring. I did however leave her an email and expect to get one back early tomorrow morning. So hopefully the car is still on track for completion on Thursday. (Doubtful, but you never know!) Once I get more information tomorrow I'll fill you in!

Looks like mine went into the body shop just about the same time as yours! So I'm thinking we will be traveling together. Lol. My completion date is still on track for tomorrow. Said shouldn't have a problem getting down to the docks by Friday or Saturday. Only thing I'm confused about is the shipping. I'm not sure I'll have to wait till the 24th(unless theres no ship going out till then), since my ship would just be coming to NY (NJ rather). I guess I'll have to take a look to see what my options are ship wise. Now things are getting exciting knowing I'm finally moving!

 

Finally got our production number!

Man, seems like everyone in this thread is almost to the finish line. Need some fresh blood in here to suffer with me! I suppose 2013 models are just around the corner.

So after waiting since 2/17 it's finally so close I can taste it. For it's west coast bunk mates on the Glorious Express here's its trek from Southampton.

I'm a soon-to-be MINI owner too! My MINI is arriving at the Port of Brunswick in Georgia this Friday on a ship called Dover Highway. It's almost here!!

Hello, I ordered my Spice Orange Mini, and while I am waiting , looking thru my papers I noticed on the Buyers Agreement there is an Enviromental Charge of $795.00 any one in the USA notice this, I am in Illinois thanks

Just found out my new MINI is on the Porgy! Slated to get to Jersey City on the 18th. Cannot wait.

 

delivery scheduled for Monday! Not a bad turnaround - order was placed Feb 21.

Can't wait to take her/him home. I haven't been this excited about anything in such a long time.

I see the Tomar just departed Bremerhaven (aka "BimmerHaven") and is en route to Southampton to pick up Stella and her friends!

 

DREAMS REALLY DO COME TRUE! My new Coupe, Veruca, is all tucked in next to Elvis (the wife's Justa). Sorry for the crappy picture, it's been a long day. I'll do a proper photo shoot soon and a full post. I love this car so much. The 1200 mile break-in period is going to be so hard...

Are you confirmed on the Tomar ??

 

Hey wry_martini! I believe we ordered on the same date from the same dealership. Did you confirm your car is on or slated for the Tomar? I'm trying not to curl up in the fetal position and have a full meltdown. Buffy has been sitting on the dock in Bremerhaven since late March and I could not pull up my VIN number on the cargo list for the Tomar. My MA is also having difficulty ascertaining my MINIs whereabouts... Oh, the agony!!

I did some research today and found an NYK Car Carrier that is two hours behind the Tomar and it will arrive in Southampton on Friday. It will then stop in San Diego first and then on to Port "Why nee me" a day or two behind Tomar

Themis Leader is the other ship. There is no site for NYK so we all may have to wait to know for sure.

Themis Leader just left "BimmerHaven" so your CM may be onboard

Nope, I haven't been able to get confirmation from my MA, but that's not surprising, I haven't been able to get much from him. I'll try tomorrow and see what I can find out.

Shame on me, but I was going on hopeful assumption that she'd be on the Tomar . . .
