Need some advice/help.....new Mini Clubman owner
I use to have a 2005 Mini Cooper Convertible and had to part ways with it due to a divorce. I got me a 2010 Mini Clubman on this last Friday. I do not know what packages or options the car is equipped with. Is there any way to have the VIN ran so that I know what the car has on it exactly? I would also like to try and find out what Mini dealer the car was purchased at brand new and the last owners information if at all possible so that I can try and get the warranty information. I would also like to know if there is a remaining factory balance that transfers to me or not? I would also like to know the service history so that I know when the next oil change is and if theres been any work to the car (I bought the car at a Mercedes dealer) Is there any way to find this information out? Its a 2010 Pepper White Mini Cooper Clubman with a manual transmission and a little over 43,000 miles....which was the only thing that I did not like about the car....but I can understand as I have went over 300 miles since friday....I missed my car sooo much and I am soooo happy that I can say I am a Mini owner again!!!

Check this thread. Not sure if he still does it... A MINI employee will run your VIN and email info to you.

No one is going to give you personal info and such of the last owner.
Try to register your VIN on https://ol.miniusa.com/
There may be some service information there but not sure if you can access what the PO put in if any.
Otherwise just go to a dealer and have them dig up service info.
You can also download an owners manual on the OL site.
Your free service is expired at 36K mile. The warranty goes to 50K/4yr I may be wrong but I don't think it matters who owns it now as far as warranty?

I found a thread about going to the Mini site where you can track your ordering, but it would not pull up anything about the options my car has. I found the last service record, which is helpful. I posted to the thread you linked me too, hoping to hear back from them...if not I will just call a dealership and see if they can help me out. Thanks for the link and help!
Ya the MINI OL site will only show the options while in production. The option link stops working soon after the car is shipped.
You can post what options you think you have here and maybe we can sort out some of them.
Make a signature to tell us what you have...
And it's MINI.... mini means the classic cars. (not referring to your username).

I have figured out what it has for the most part....I am having troubles understanding the rain-sensing wipers but havent really messed with the comfort access system alot. Been busy driving and not tinkering with what I dont understand yet. My username is not what I wanted....that was taken, so I made this one....
If you did not get an owners manual then you can download one from the OL site. I prefer the PDF files as you can search for stuff in seconds.
Here is the radio info:

FYI - Comfort Access is an option where you can open the doors and start the engine while the the key fob remains in your pocket.

I have my owners manual! I called the closest dealer today and they are suppose to email me the information about my car. They told me that oil changes are not at set intervals.....that there is somewhere on the tach that it tells how many miles until your next service, but it could be for anything and not necessarily for an oil change (?!?) I am sure that the car has the Premium, Cold Weather, and Convenience Packages with what I have on the car that I know of. I <3 these cars and I am so happy to have one again!
Google [COP option BMW]
Several of the items listed as options on your list are really not options. They come on all MINI's... for example the on board computer.
Some guesses as to why:
Maybe these items used to be options on earlier models and the database or whatever was not updated.
Some items listed might be part of another option?
Some items may be options on foreign models and standard on US models.
