Thanks for Ruining My Life!!!!!!!!!!!

I just joined and I wanted to say HI and curse all of you for monopolizing ALL of my time the past few days. The first night I stayed up until 1AM reading all of the threads and taking notes on all of the GREAT info. Today I found myself neglecting work and making lists of all the mods I wanted to do to my newly purchased '07 Pepper white MCS. And here I am doing it again!!! It's after 2AM here in Chicago and I'm still on this darn thing posting a thread!

Great info guys!!! So glad I bought an MCS and it's a bonus I found NAM. So thanks for RUINING MY LIFE!!!!

Cheers!

James

Thanks reRESERVEDMD, I'm in Chicago on the Northside (Rogers Park). I would be interested in doing a meet.

I can't even begin to tell you how many 100's of hours I have spent reading through the posts on NAM.

The results:

The first year I did very little. I swapped out the sport suspension for the JCW suspension and then got rid of the run flats. I also added the challenge stripes. Then nothing for a while and then starting in October of 2009, I did one thing after another after another. Well 28 months later, I am just about done. Going do some more black out mods and have my Challenge wheels powder coated flat black or get some Rota RBs also in flat black.

Its a journey. Take it one step at a time and really enjoy this awesome little car. It brings a smile to my face every day, just like the day I bought it.

If it wasn't for NAM, my car would still look like this. Peer pressure is a ***** .

Welcome from the NW suburbs. Put a JCW steering wheel and shifter on your mod list!

The JCW aero kit cost me about $3600. That includes the CF rear diffuser which goes for about $600 by itself. I also needed 4 new wheel arches. The wheel arches from the factory aero kit were already painted blue and I wanted to go with the look of the standard wheel arches.

I had the dealer do paint and install 14 months after I bought my car. The JCW should come with that aero kit to set it apart from the Cooper and Cooper S.

im seeing what deals there are in april since my car will get to me in april. and im thinking about asking my MA for the new jcw package with the aero kit and the rims on my car but anything that says jcw off because all i really want is a sweet looking mcs not a almost there jcw ... i wonder if you can still throw in packages on delivery day...hmmm i would think as long as you havent signed the paperwork then you can add as much as you wan for the factory prices
