Greetings from Kansas

Just picked up a '10 MCC PW/W #1, #3, DSC H/K from Kansas City and love it! Sadly, there are only a handful of Minis in Salina. I got to enjoy it for a tank and a half of gas before the crazy snow appears. I'm hoping my all-season tires will let me drive my mini around a little in this weather. Can't wait to start modding the clubby!

Welcome Jennfenn to the world of Miniacs. Just like on any car, tires will make all the difference in the snow. Usually all-seasons are all you need in the Kansas City area, probably Salina too. Once the weather turns nice, join us in KC for a "clubby" outing http://www.kcminiclub.com/index.html

Quite a few MINIs in the Manhattan/Ft.Riley area too....

Welcome to the insanity!

Some good all seasons are probably all you need, if it gets too deep your MINI will become a Mini-snowplow!

That said, I get around fine with my Clubby in pretty much everything ol man winter throws at us here in KC. Do try to come in and join us for some KC MINIacs club events, we'd love to have you. go here for all the info...

Welcome and enjoy your MINI, all seasons may be OK but take it easy when the white stuff falls.

I haven't had a problem yet. I have initial apprehension for snow due to 1) dislike being cold, and 2) had an accident in ice and snow in a Camaro. FWD is amazing, I'm tooling around everywhere with no problem! Thanks for the warm welcome.
