Once the ships get past Ireland is there anyway to track it? Looks like it goes into a black hole until it gets closer to the east coast. If that's the case what will I do for the next ~6 days lol

Have bubble baths with miniature boats and pretend they are crossing the Atlantic.

www.sailwx.info

Click Ship Tracker, then Find Ships By Name, and it should give you exact lat/long and a link to a map. Not nearly as informative as marinetraffic.com, but at least you know the current position.

Looks like the PORGY is more than a day late getting to Bremerhaven, wonder how this will affect it's getting to Southampton and my chances of getting on it!

Edit::

Actually, it looks like marinetraffic.com has incorrect scheduling information for PORGY.

Right on time!

Port of Hueneme

Hi,

I went to Port Hueneme site here: http://www.portofhueneme.org . And I found a link that has a daily list of schedules here: http://www.portofhueneme.org/documen...l_schedule.pdf . The site says the document is updated daily. Here's a screen shot of the PDF for Undine:

I wonder if this means they're expecting 637 BMWs. And 19 Minis.

Madame Butterfly is on the schedule too.

Eh, considering the Undine can hold 7200 cars and 600 trucks I doubt those numbers are accurate?

Looks like the Madame Butterfly is expected on the 3rd! Thats a day earlier than was shown on the WW site. Now that says the 3rd!

Hope that is correct

Even though Undine can carry thousands of cars, I only need it to carry the 4 Minis for lithium77, lineaux, Mo'Phat, and myself.

Also, that's full capacity...but it's a down economy. They will keep their schedule regardless of how many cars they are transporting.

Didn't think of that, I can only imagine that there's a certain point where it'd be more expensive to leave port than the money they're making by doing so...

I'm an engineering student, I've got optimization drilled into every ounce of my brain, full capacity is the first thing I think of

Thats def not what it means. Looking at the WW tracking, I count at least 150 minis loaded on it from the oxford plant. I am sure there are a large number of countrymans on there also.

I would almost read it as 1580 of type veh, 128 hh, 1383 BMWs, 637 minis. But who knows.

Well, my husband is here and we went down to the MINI dealership to set up the financing for Big Red and.....

..another MINI stole my heart. I am a bad, bad girl.

I just drove home a 2011 Laser Blue Cooper S.... I am in love and my face hurts from grinning. My husband is the greatest.

Sorry, Big Red, it just wasn't meant to be. :D

My car is supposedly at the docks in SouthHampton now. Looking at the schedule, it looks like I'll be boarding the Torrens on the 21st bound for Baltimore on May1st.

Anyone else on that ship?

I'm just glad your husband is home safe. Sometimes some other MINI sneaks in there and steals you away. It happens.

Wow! All that blood, sweat and tears watching the progress of your Chili Red down the drain.

You're more impatient than I am.

Congrats on your new MINI!

I'm hoping my MINI will make it on this ship too. Production is supposed to be finished tomorrow. Our MINI's might be on the same transport to the dock.!

Differences are mostly cosmetic choices I made-- the MCS had no Sport Stripes, no armrest, no white turn signals, no Xenon lights, no red rooster inlay. But the MCS did have Sport seats and the multi-function steering wheel as standard, without the cost of the Sport package. And it had the Premium package which was a must for me. It also is an automatic-- I can't drive a stick, I'm just too uncoordinated. So, I paid out of pocket for the Sport Stripes (white-- this is a Laser Blue/White MINI) and will have the tinting done and call it a day!

Also- 0.9% interest. Goodness, what a deal!!!

Wow! All that blood, sweat and tears watching the progress of your Chili Red down the drain.

Congrats on your new MINI!
HAHAH! I actually looked at my MA and said, "Oh my God, I'm cheating on my MINI and I haven't even met him yet!" He laughed and remarked they'd find a great owner for him. And they will- its a great build and will be a handsome MINI for anyone interested.

I'm just glad your husband is home safe. Sometimes some other MINI sneaks in there and steals you away. It happens.
I've said in other threads if I could have afforded the MCS in Laser Blue I'd jump on it in a heartbeat. I just happened to find this sweet deal by accident-- we were waiting for the MA to finish another customer's test drive and stumbled on him sitting at the back of the lot. But you could see that pretty Laser Blue from the door of the dealership. I went to show hubby the color and he looked at the price...and I said out loud, "You're pretty, want to come home with me?" Hubby said, "Yes, yes it does." And we went and found our MA. hahaha

I'm also glad he is home safe-- I cried a bit when he got home. :D
