Aloha

Newby here just wanted to say hello and I look forward to reading and learning alot about my new 04 S JCW. So far I love the car and have no complaints. I'm very impressed with the car and would only like to improve what appears to be a bit of road noise entering from the rear of the car or the hatch perhaps.

Cheers

Hola MiniZoom04, congrats on the new purchase. I'm a convertible owner, so I can't say anything about the noise, but search around the forums and see what you might find out about it. Hope you're having loads of fun zipping around in your new ride!

Welcome to the forum, unless something is loose or the rear hatch isn't closed your hope for noise reduction is probably not happening.

Thanks everyone,
Of course the perfect cure for road noise is to just put the top down!
Cheers on the vert wish I had one.
As far as my Mini I've had luck with other cars by using Dynamat and car quiet which I may apply to the rear and hatch of this Mini. I'll let everyone know if it works or not.

It's all about the curves

Welcome nice lookin MINI.

There are some rubber stops that are easy to adjust on the hatch. Also since you have a JCW adjust the tips to stick out a little further and that will keep out some exh noise.

WayMotorWorks,
Many thanks for the tips I adjusted the rubber stops which made a very noticable difference. Gotta luv those quick fixes

The Exhaust music I dont mind it's the tire roar I wish to remove perhaps it's just my tires???

Thanks again
