First MINI...Hope I made the right decision.

Hello all,
I just traded a Honda Pilot for a 2003 Cooper S, guess that means I came into my cooper by chance. I love the car and came across your site while trying to diagnose a Check Engine Soon light issue (misfire cylinder 1). I wish I could get that fixed to I can enjoy the car to its fullest.

Welcome to NAM. I can't be certain it will fix it, but a new set of spark plugs, and wires would be the first thing that comes to mind. You can post all the symptoms, car specific issues and what you have done to try and correct it in this forum.

People might know exactly what you need to do, but I have to imagine plugs and wires are first on the list.

I have replaced the plugs and waiting for the new wires to arrive. Crossing my fingers...

Is it actually missing? Running poorly? Or does the light just need to be reset?

A Honda Pilot!? I'd say you made the right decision, you have a good looking car now!

Get it fixed and enjoy it. You'll get all kinds of support here. It'll get worked out.
I'm not sure if I made the right decision. I needed another car like a snail needs air brakes but let's kick everything around while we're out cruising.

Welcome to the forum, hope you get the problem fixed quickly, it doesn't do the engine much good on running with three cylinders
