Hello everyone,

Today I sold my 2004 Porsche Boxster and became the proud new owner of a 2007 Chili Red MINI Cooper S Coupe. Previously (4 years ago) I owned a Lightning Blue MINI Cooper Cabrio and decided to try Porsche ownership. Although owning a Porsche was an experience, what I quickly noticed was the lack of camaraderie. MINI owners just seem more friendly, with a willingness to help other MINI owners. There is never a shortage of great advice and experience. I look forward to the MINI experience, the fun of customization, and the overall motoring experience. Talk to you soon. Steven

I'll have to disagree with the opinion of a lack of camaraderie among Porsche owners but nevertheless welcome back to the MINI world!

Welcome to the forum, I loved my Porsche and was sorry to see it go way back when, but now I love my MINI, wsh I could have both.

 

The answer must be hidden somewhere in his post...

 

My opinion is that of other owners locally in my area. I guess my opinion was somewhat overstated, which is unfair to categorize all Porsche owners. I do apologize for that. I do miss my Porsche a little, well maybe even a lot, but I am certain that over time, my MINI will become my only love with all the fun and customizations. Thanks for the warm welcome to NAM.

I traded my Porsche Boxster for it.
I do not have any regrets.
