Second Week of Ownership - Lov'in Every Minute!

Hey there,

I am new to the Mini World. It has been a while since a car inspired me to join an online club and post. I took a job with a long commute. 110 miles a day. I had been driving an 08 Civic EX with aftermarket leather. The seat wasn't great so I decided to update to an 09 with factory leather. After just 7 months with the newer car, I just couldn't take it any longer and decided to start looking for another ride. I decided to give the MCS a try. It was just what the Doctor ordered! Very comfortable with all the features I wanted. I've just completed the second week of ownership and I find myself wanting to drive the car more and more. I just tripped 800 miles on the car and I am loving every minute of it. The quality is fantastic inside and out. Much improved over the 03 MCS I tried years ago. Here's to a long relationship!!!

Cheers!
~MattS

Let's see...

2010 MCS in Pepper White / Black roof. 6 speed automatic with the Winter Package and Sunroof package too. Sorry, don't remember the correct terminology. I had the Black Sport Stripes and VentureShield installed prior to pickup. I got it with 17 miles on the clock.

Welcome to NAM MattSaint, with a 110 mile commute you will be putting in a lot of wheel time, nothing like a MINI to make it enjoyable. LETS MOTOR!

hello to everyone. Just joined Nam, and not yet own a mini, but am in the market for one. I'm interested in purchasing a 2006 mini gp with less than 20,000 miles if any one could help I'd greatly appreciate it. Any leads would help. Thanks! -Dominic-

Congrats to the original poster on the MCS. I moved from a civic as my daily commuter to the MCS and love it.

To the other poster looking into he 06 GP, I would try trolling the market here, post a Want To Buy Add and look into tying to get a dealer to search for a used one for you. They are vey rare cars and to find one with an average of 3,300 miles a year could be very difficult.
