Long time water cooled VW person here who is getting a 04 Mini Cooper S in a week. I cannot wait to start doing little things to it like a new stereo with 5 channel amp, head unit, Ipod dock, subwoofer, new speakers, exhaust, pulley, chip, air intake, stut bar with support to protect against mushrooming, etc, etc. This is going to be fun.

LOL OK Hold on. I just finished waxing it and detailing the interior plastic. It's enjoying my garage right now. OMG this car is so much fun to drive.

Thanks. Ok Pics didn't happen today. I left my camera at work this weekend. If I can tomorrow I will see if the roomy wants to get his DSLR out for some good shots. He hurt his back getting owned by me at racquetteball last week so he might not be up for it. LOL

 

I am making big plans for the car though.

Car stereo:
Focal, CTD, Quart, Hybrid Audio, or Morel Speakers, RE audio Sub, Fiberglass box, custom amp rack, sound deadening, New head unit probably JVC because I can color match the dash lights, Custom Ipod holder for my Iphone wired into the back of hte JVC. Alarm (considering teh VIper that can communicate with my Iphone).

We looking at second skin today. I'm going to start with 80 square feet and see what it will cover. I intend to do the doors and hatch area as a start. I'm debating removing the seats adn carpet and covering the whole floor with a layer also while I run all the stereo wires.

The JVC and second skin shop kit are on the way already. Going to go alpine 5 channel amp, focal speakers, alpine sub, and the JVC deck. Looking at the viper alarm that can work with my iphone.
