Hey All. I've been contemplaiting a new ride and I went to an event here in Las Vegas this last weekend that sold me on getting an MCS.

It will be a Black on Black with black "Crown Spoke" rims. I got the Sport package, sport suspension, LSD, Bluetooth/USB, and Convenience package.

I am super excited. The guy from Mini of Monrovia said my car was "Right on the bubble" for production. I'm guessing I got one about to go into production.

I'm excited and can't wait until it's ready. The dealer said before Christmas. I hope so.

Actually, the last 4 cars I've had living in Las Vegas have been black. A decent tint and it's just fine.

Now, keeping them clean is a different issue. LOL

Except I have prem and sport package. I originally put LSD in but mechanical LSD is no longer available in 2010. So my MA took that off from my list.

 

Odd. The LSD was available when I ordered it yesterday...

 

I believe LSD is available through March. You can't order LSD with the Sport package due to DTC being a part of that package and the two are not compatible....

 

It was available on the site and also allow to add when I order mine in Oct but I confirmed with my MA and it's no long offering.
Therefore, I took it out of my build and save $500...

 

Interesting...last I heard it would be available through March builds. Motoring File stated that when they announced the new pricing for 2010. But then they were the ones who originally reported that LSD wouldn't be available at all for 2010.

 

Odd. My guy at the dealer had no issues getting both the Sport Package and the LSD as options together. I guess I'll have to wait and see.

I asked why the LSD wasn't included with the sport package and he said that you could get the sport package with an automatic but the LSD wasn't compatible with the auto. Since I was getting the manual it was okay. That's all I know. *shrug* I hope I don't get a nasty surprise down the road here.
