First post - couple of questions
Hello all -
First post here, after lurking for quite a while. After years of admiring the mini/mini clubman, and reading hundreds and hundreds of threads here (great info!) I'm in the process of narrowing down options as I'm getting nearer to making a purchase. I'm basically set on a non-s clubman.
For those with a non-s (cooper or cooper clubman) with sport suspension - is it worth adding? From reading relevant posts it appears that adding sport suspension on a non-s puts it on par with a stock s - is that correct? Will upgrading to a 16" wheel/tire (vs 15") make that much of a difference?
What I'm looking for is to try and option a non-s to provide as much driving enjoyment (as far as handling) as an S, minus the turbo. After much deliberation and research, I think the non-s is the way to go (for me at least). Pretty much everything about the clubman will be an upgrade from what I'm driving now.
Sorry for the long post. Anyway, I'm sure I will have more questions as I near purchase time. Comments are most appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

The sport susension will improve handling with slight penalty in ride comfort, so if your prime concern is handling get it. The 16" wheels will also improve handling if you relace the all season run flats with a good summer sticky tire. If not you won't gain much over the 15" standard that come with the car.
