Not so new but born again?

Back in 2002 I may have been a member here? anyway had a 2002 Justacooper she was indi blue/ White I then turned her into a 2004 DS/black MCS after couple of years I switched from MINI to BMW and have had fun with 330's, 328's a Z4 and even a x3 once.
Well got the we need a small car bug and bought a Honda Fit (YUCK) the sun must of been in my eyes or something when I bought it. this car was no fun to drive and pretty scary at times. One trip from here in Florida where I live to the mountains in that box was it for my 40 something year old bones to take.
The fit is history and I'm loving my 2009 MCS SS/SS this one is pretty loaded someone must of ordered it and backed out as he's got auto trans ,nav, factory ground effects, lounge leather, con pkg, sport pkg,lux pkg. Compaired to the FIT I feel like I'm in a Rolls! I really would have liked to build my own but very happy with this one.
Anyway happy to be back in the MINI family and wanted to say hi. Now should I trade the 2008 328i hard top vert in on a clubman s? I think not!
PS The MINI is running like a champ no problems to report other then it needs a bath bad.

A Mini has a bimmer heart, yes?

Been there and done that also with the bimmers. They are fun cars, but none have been the fun my mini is providing. I'd possibly say it's as fun and responsive (o.k. maybe a stretch) as my E46 M3 conv. No, the mini doesn't have the hp, but does respond, not to mention taking corners like the old go-carts of yesteryear. I too "tried" the X3 route and that's a car I wished BMW would discontinue. I'll spare you NAMers with the detail.

Enjoy.

I too traded my BMW vert for a Mini. Can't comment as to if I'll miss the BMW yet until I A) Get my Mini delivered and B) Drive it for a while. So far I like what I've seen (test rides).

The Fit look Honda's version of the Pacer. Underpowered and unimaginative.
Before I bought the Mini it was suggested to me to consider a Fit Sport and Miata as an alternative to the Mini. This was suggested by folks that have never driven a Mini.

Welcome back, Happy Motoring.

Thank you all for the welcome back. I realy love this car the only gripe is the outdated NAV disc and not knowing when the next one will come out but know it will be 200 bucs when it happens!
Since my last MINI was a 2004 just wonder when did MINI put the carpet crap in the tire wells? It's just odd. Maybe it works?
Sorry about no PICs also bought a new PC and well I do not even twitter so it will take me some time to just find my email let alone make my outdated cam work!
The 2009 is much more refined then the 2004 MCS I loved BUT I sure love this one ,very bad , it's just a car , it's just a car. To be honest with you all I realy love this car.
