hey guys! i just picked up my black hardtop S with sport package (black mini rims) this past friday!
im a young first time buyer with no co-signer and i got approved for 0.9% APR i love the car already.. even though im still in the break in process (however i dont believe in that only because i think mini and other companys im sure run those engines to the ground to make sure they work properly).. but glad to be a part of this new community. other guys in mini's give me a thumbs up sign and it feels like im back into the bike scene. woo!

see you guys around the forum (:The S has so much torque that it will accelerate pretty well while staying below 4,500 RPM. Most agree that you should avoid long periods at the same engine spped for too long during the breakin period. This is pretty important. I was thrilled once I burn off my break in period!
I am going to change my oil before 2,000 miles reagrdless of what BMW/MINI recommend. Many mechanics still recommend changing the manual transmission oil and the engine oil at about 1200 - 1500 miles. I also plan on engine oil changes every 8,000 miles - even with synthetic oil.
Happy Motoring!!!
i know. i actually dont have ANY pics! lost my digi cam charger/stand/uploader thing and havent really got around to getting a new one.
